Underwriting and application upgrades

• Bridge applications are available in FireLight
• Instant underwriting decision for many clients based on digital risk score
  
• Video underwriting may be required for certain clients, but not all
• After the application is submitted, you’ll receive an email with either your client’s assigned underwriting class or a link to schedule underwriting

The E-App must be submitted to initiate the underwriting process.

Bridge underwriting remains optional; clients may choose to bypass it and accept Secure class.

Application process effective June 16

You will begin the application process in FireLight. Please note that underwriting now occurs after the application has been signed and submitted.

Applications in progress and not yet submitted may be completed in the original system, but will not have the streamlined underwriting process and require video underwriting prior to submission.
